Making the desktop Fedelta POS work with Xero

Before

When you have a good system that works, you don’t change it just for the sake of change. A group of restaurants in Melbourne approached us when a consultant told them that they will have to switch to a Xero POS add-on in order to make the most out of Xero. They didn’t want to give up on a POS that works well for them, Fedelta, and so opted for manual entry of sales to Xero

After

When they approached us, we built a process that automatically transfers end of day figures from Fedelta to Xero. It does so across multiple locations, some being part of the same financial entity (so using tracking categories in Xero), and others being independent entities (and so linked to individual Xero organisations).
